Our society is based on fast foods.  Although this is slowly changing to recognition of the benefits of organic, glance out your car window at “Joe- public”, to see we are not quite there yet as a society.  Many diet plans offer quick fix pills, but in reality, most don’t work and the potential side effects are not worth the risk.   A true muscle gaining secret is eating 5-6 small meals a day, with an muscle gaining secrets emphasis on lean proteins and whole grain carbohydrates are much more beneficial than eating 3 large meals a day. 

The average desired amount of protein per person varies.  You want to eat one to one and half times your body weight in protein to lose weight and build muscle.  This doesn’t mean eating your body weight in hamburger.  Our society is big on sauces and frying.  Cut out butter, use boneless-skinless cuts of meat, and broil, grill, or bake, and you will see a difference almost immediately.  This is the true muscle gaining secret.
